This subject has moments of being a bit 'dry' but also is very good to get a good understanding on the world of management and even business in general. The lecturer goes through the assignment well and the assignment overall seems very 'university-like' in layman's terms, so is a good introduction to what standards are expected. It is quite content heavy so knowing concepts is super important, but it isn't extremely 'memorization' heavy when it comes to the EOS exam, so understanding these concepts and being able to apply them is important. Overall, a good course for first years.Anonymous, Semester 1, 2017
Nice intro to university research assignmentsAnonymous, Semester 1, 2017
I really didn't like this course, I thought the Everest simulation was a good experience but to then base the assignment around it was a little strange I think. It's fine as an introductory management subject and isn't particularly challenging due to the staggered tutorial assessment.Anonymous, Semester 2, 2016
Well structured course. Coordinator extremely clear in her explanations and examples. Lectures don't usually drag on. Assessment designed to pass first years. Nice intro to university research assignmentsAnonymous, Semester 1, 2014
